About RMIG

RMIG was founded in 2022 by a small group of healthcare recall professionals who recognized that many organizations were facing the same recall management challenges—but often working through them independently.

Today, RMIG includes more than 200 members representing over 100 healthcare organizations across the United States. Members collaborate by sharing real-world experiences, practical resources, educational opportunities, and best practices that strengthen recall management programs across healthcare.

Our Story

RMIG began with a simple idea: healthcare organizations shouldn't have to solve recall management challenges alone.

Those early meetings weren't formal presentations or committee meetings. They often felt more like therapy sessions—a place where recall professionals could talk openly with others who truly understood the challenges of the job. Members shared frustrations, celebrated successes, exchanged ideas, and discovered they weren't facing those challenges alone.

As conversations continued, members began sharing templates, workflows, lessons learned, and practical solutions that could benefit other healthcare organizations. As participants invited colleagues to join the discussions, what began as a handful of professionals evolved into a nationwide collaborative.

What began as conversations among peers evolved into a simple guiding principle that still defines RMIG today: Speed to Safety.
